The best japanese dictionary around

A really nice app. Perfect to increase your Japanese vocabulary. All you need is the furui version of the word and then the Kotoba returns the kanji, readings and the translate in various languages. Pros: it doesnt uses the network to search; provides a wide range of results and Its FREE; Cons: You need the furui version for kanjis; You also have to enable the Japanese keyboard to your iPod/iPhone (not a problem at all).

Ive been studying japanese for years and this is the best dictionary Ive ever used! Easy to use, full of resources to explore words and kanji. Only remark with this new version: I just prefer the "old" colors...

Building in Jim Breens famous (WWW)JDIC project, the quantity and quality of the provided Japanese vocabulary is beyond anything I know on the web (and in the Appstore). Lots of helpful functions, like translations into Englisch, French, German, Spanish and many more languages, six different search methods for Kanji, example sentences, and text-to-speech synthesis, are provided. This is, without doubt, one of the finest apps for learners of the Japanese language, period.

Im so happy that i can use my favourite japanese dictionary app again

I use it every day. My only wish for improvement is to include Heisigs RTK 6th edition new frame order under the references. That would be nice. Thanks for this app.
