Best. App. Ever.

Ive studied Japanese for 2 years and used this app like crazy. I still use this app to learn more kanji and vocab. It has kanji ordered based on japanese school grades and the proficiency test. It shows you how to write kanji and all the different ways to say them. This is the best app I have.

I always come here (or jisho.org) to find the meanings of words. Its really in depth and I have not come across a lot of glitches (I would say none, but I dont want to jinx it). I really recommend this app for the Japanese language learner.

Please make a more portable version as this takes up more space than a Capcom fighting game! Half the size would be ideal.

My discovery of this app has made my life so much easier. Ive never seen another app that is so comprehensive and detailed in Japanese translations! I go to it for all of my Japanese language needs and it does not fail to translate what Im looking for. Its incredible and I wish there was a dictionary app like this for every language! Itd make learning a lot easier. My one desire for this would be to add a way to lookup kanji by drawing it on your screen. Sometimes it takes tedious amounts of time for me to find all the right components of a kanji character to learn its meaning.

I use this dictionary everyday and have for many years. It is an integral part of my studying process and I would be lost without it, even now that I use it less for translation and more for its lists and notes features. Its the best!!

I used this app in Japan and it helped me so much. I especially like the Kanji search by radical!

I dont get why there are so little reviews--THIS APP IS THE BEST. Imiwa is the one good Japanese dictionary out there that has really helped me when lost in translation. JUST TRY IT.

This a fantastic app for people who are interested in learning Japanese, are learning currently, or speak it already. Seriously so good! For me, theres no other app on the market besides imiwa for Japanese language resources. I recommend using the app with the Kana/かな keyboard too. I can look up Kanji I dont recognize. The app even shows how to properly write the kanji for stroke count w/ an animation. Also, I can find out about more regional or informal parts of speech that might be colloquial or uncommon. Theres so so so much the app has done for my reading and grammar skills as someone whos mostly self-taught. Im good at listening/speaking it already, but the option to have the app speak words Im not sure of w/ either male/female voices is great too. As I said above, imiwa が好きだ‼︎（＾Ｏ＾☆♪

This is the best dictionary even among the paid ones. I know people (including myself) who cannot give up their iPhone just because of this dictionary.

This is very helpful for my needs. I am a student of the Japanese language at the basic/intermediate level and I use this app to search for vocabulary I do not understand.

This is a wonderful Japanese-English dictionary app. The only thing that bothers me is that doesnt fully support the new larger iPhone.

Cant believe how good it is. This is the best dictionary app I have ever seen. Japanese or otherwise, as far as dictionary apps go. It is put together unbelievably well. What else can I say, its the best!!!

My iphone 6 keeps restarting when the app is installed( the blue screen of death). Im at Middlebury college Japanese summer program and it is so useful for day to day conversation as we are required to speak Japanese 24/7. Please update soon!

This is hands down the best language tool Ive used for practicing and learning Japanese! But seriously when are we getting iPhone 6 support? It works fine but the resolution is not native iPhone 6 res.
