Update: I still think this is the best dictionary. I think this is the best dictionary around! It´s very easy to search for a word. (I don´t like multiple tabs & clicks). Just open the app and there you go. Ready to search. You can input a word in furigana, in kanji, in romaji or english. You can have the meanings in several languages. I really like the examples and the additional results. I totally recommend this app. It would be great if the developer can add functions to be also a study aid, not only reference.　 このappは英語を勉強している人に便利だと思います。お勧めです。

This app is very helpful for me as a foreigner who is living in Japan. But for current version is bit slow than before

This must be the best dictionary version ever, never asks for reviews nor have advertising and is very complete, you have all the kanjis that you need. I really hope that other dictionary app would follow your lead.... Best ever

I really love this app. It helps me alot for studying japanese especially for looking up kanji for heisig. Good luck for developers and team....

I like how it saves words to different lists. That makes it easy to review words later. I also like the auto-search the clipboard feature.

Modification on below review... Seems to have been an issue with the limitations of having only 1GB of RAM available for applications on the Apple iPad platform. Changed to 5-star. I feel that imiwa is an excellent Japanese dictionary. However theres one major fundamental flaw. When I launch the application on the latest iPad Air it fails to load. When launching the program, it repeatedly crashes and returns to the main interface. I do not experience this phenomena on the iPhone 5.

I love this dictionary. To make this perfect, hand written kanji input at search bar would be highly recommended. At present we have to input either by searching kanji with radicals or kanji (word) pronunciation. Please put this feature and waiting for it.

I love this app. I have had several versions of it, but the latest never loads. I get the loa screen, but then is crashes. Bug? Perhaps.

Latest version of kanji radicals is showing Chinese not Japanese characters. Once fixed you will once again be my choice.

It was highly recommended to download this apps by my Japanese teachers. The dictionary itself is the best one that Ive seen so far as I can actually learning Kanji from the roots, which would help me to remember the kanji as well as how to write it. Thank you very much for creating this!!!
